  1. Visit the official Airtel website and choose the plan that is most suitable for you from plans available. Right now, Airtel offers two plans along with the new SIM card, which is Rs.248 plan and Rs.495 plan.
  2. To schedule the KYC on your doorstep, the website has an online form that needs to be filled. The form asks for basic details like Name, Address, Mobile Number, etc. It also asks if you want to get a new number or want to port your old number to Airtel. You can select any option you like.
  3. Once you have correctly filled all the entries, click on the submit button.

After submitting the form, you will receive an SMS on your mobile number stating that your order has been placed and your new Sim is going to be delivered by ‘NAME OF THE AGENT.’

The sales agents will call you to find out the suitable time for the doorstep KYC process. Once you have decided the time, you should be ready with the original documents like Aadhar card, Passport, Voter card, Driving License, etc.

An additional charge of Rs.99 is charged for home delivery service by Airtel. But it is not a big amount considering the convenience that it gives to the customers. Currently, the service is available in only a few cities.

The prepaid SIM comes with two plans; one is of Rs.297, where the user gets 1.5 GB data per day for 28 days, and 100 SMS free per day along with unlimited calls.
