Here are the few steps that you should follow:
- Visit the official Airtel website and choose the plan that is most suitable for you from plans available. Right now, Airtel offers two plans along with the new SIM card, which is Rs.248 plan and Rs.495 plan.
- To schedule the KYC on your doorstep, the website has an online form that needs to be filled. The form asks for basic details like Name, Address, Mobile Number, etc. It also asks if you want to get a new number or want to port your old number to Airtel. You can select any option you like.
- Once you have correctly filled all the entries, click on the submit button.
After submitting the form, you will receive an SMS on your mobile number stating that your order has been placed and your new Sim is going to be delivered by ‘NAME OF THE AGENT.’

The prepaid SIM comes with two plans; one is of Rs.297, where the user gets 1.5 GB data per day for 28 days, and 100 SMS free per day along with unlimited calls. The sim comes with additional benefits where users get a subscription to Airtel Xstream App and Wynk music. Another plan is Rs.497, where users get 1.5 GB of data free for 56 days and 100 SMS free per day along with the same subscription of Airtel Xstream app and Wynk music.
